I remember my first breaded pork tenderloin sandwich. I was thirteen, and my dad and I were left home alone to our own devices for a few days. Saturday, lunch, he whipped up two of these bad boys for us.
“In Iowa,” he said, “they call this a breaded pork tenderloin sandwich.”
Ever since, I am known to go on the hunt for them from time to time. I have yet to find a good one in Madison.
