new new Quark logo | 3:02 pm | 21 March 2006
Quark re-redesigned their logo after the old new one caused a flap. The new new one could be more refined… but, what do I care, since I use InDesign anyway?

Geez. I hadn’t even seen all those logos that look EXACTLY like Quark’s. (Although, to be fair, they all look just like each other, too. Let’s just give the image mark to whomever survives a corporate deathmatch. Or possibly just to the Scottish Arts Council, as I like the Scots.) I had only notice how much Quark’s logo looked like a modified backwards Technorati logo and though they were trying to piggyback on the whole 21st century cool thing.
But, like you, I also don’t care, as I use InDesign whenever I do print. Quark blew it with their crap customer service and terrible versions a few years back.

Snerk. Apparently, all of the good ideas are taken.

I now have Denis Leary stuck in my head: “The ‘Q’ is talking to me! The ‘Q’ is talking to me!”
