I had to share that news with Joel this morning. He was proud of his countrymen. (And jokingly remarked that his upcoming road trip takes him into Canada twice, so maybe he’ll come back married.)
What swell, progressive neighbors they are. They really should adopt Wisconsin. We’ll make a fine 11th province. (Good call on the cheese angle! We should add that we like hockey here, too.)

I live in Alberta, the Texas of Canada, which is the most conservative province. They plan on fighting this new law.

i live in Ontario, the California of Canada, and yeah, we treat gays nicely here (Pride parade last weekend drew over a million people)
