I munged something up and was able to fix it on my own using phpmyadmin, so that was a definite bonus over MT, where if something was wrong there was no way I could fix it or figure it out on my own -- and I don't know a lick of PHP. Not sure what moved me on this design but I've been wanting to get clean and funky for a while. I've been listening to a lot of funk and disco and looking at great type lately. I have an election-season design up my sleeve that I need to finish off, too. The great thing, again, is that'll just be a matter of changing style sheets. Elle, feel free to look at the css - I annotated it so you can easily see what's what and why I did something, plus citations of the technique's source. It's pretty easy once you get into it. Yay!
